A leading health service provider in Monza is seeking a part-time Specialist Occupational Therapist for the Community Mental Health Services. This role involves assessing and treating individuals and groups with mental health difficulties in Glasgow. Candidates must have a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration. You will benefit from operational support, supervision, and training for continuous professional development in a collaborative environment.

Specialist Occupational Therapist – Community Mental Health Services

Join NHS Ayrshire & Arran as a part‑time (18.7 hours per week) Band 6 Occupational Therapist within the Adult Community Mental Health Team in the South Community Mental Health Service. You will provide assessment and treatment for adults and groups in the south side of Glasgow, focusing on mental health difficulties.

Responsibilities

The role includes mental health occupational therapy assessment and treatment for individuals and groups living in the south side of Glasgow and the application of appropriate interventions.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience working in a mental health context.
  • Core occupational therapy skills with proven effective verbal and written communication.
  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
  • Driving licence desirable.
Operational Support

Operational and professional support, supervision from the lead occupational therapist, and access to training for continuous professional development.

Contract & Salary

Part‑time permanent contract, 18.7 hours per week. Salary pro rata.
