The candidate will be the sourcing lead for a strategic wearable project at the heart of the collaboration between EssilorLuxottica and a major Big Tech company.
They will be involved from the development phase through to the mass production launch, and then manage the sustaining phase, overseeing sourcing activities across assigned categories (ME/EE/EM/Finished Products/JDM/ODM/CM/Display & Optics/Equipments).
The responsibilities include developing and executing all sourcing‑related activities to support product development, production ramp‑up, mass production, and business requirements, in alignment with the global sourcing wearable strategy and the partnering company’s requirements.
They will work cross‑functionally to build and develop a proper supplier base, improve supplier service and quality, and identify and execute cost‑reduction initiatives.
The candidate will be part of a multifunctional and international team supporting the development of an industrial facility and preparing it to produce a consumer electronics device with the right cost, supplier base and quality, respecting defined timelines. They will then support the mass production/sustaining phase to guarantee that the outsourcing flow meets cost, service, quality and sustainability objectives.
