Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering or Science, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of AutoCAD are advantageous.

• SITE FACILITIES MANAGER

Responsibilities

The Facilities Manager is responsible for :

• Managing the maintenance and repairs of the designated Authority Facilities and non-revenue vehicles and equipment
• Maintains communication and knowledge through regular meetings with functional managers and project team to ensure the facility services meet the needs of the business units and capital projects
• Provide contract negotiations input to Authority, communicates repair and or procurement capabilities
• Oversees, manages, and reviews data for accuracy and efficiency as it relates to schedules, quality control, product specifications and other aspects of the services
• Assist in delivering of annual goals, objectives, service improvements and budget plans
• Support goals, objectives, plans and programs with all departmental managers, assisting in developing annual and multi-year service plans, and capital improvement programs. Assist with development of operational budgets, and contract compliance.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Organize, supply and maintain the office building, equipment and supplies acting as contact person for the Site
• Responsible for the Reception and Canteen (where present)
• Support to HR concerning the maintenance of employee assets (e.g. Business Cards, IS peripherals, mobile phones, etc.)
• Support to Communications for organizing Company events and promoting Corporate notices within the Site
• Travel management and car rentals
• Supporting logistic organization for Executive & HR seminars

• Efficiency of logistics management

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
• 5+ years’ in a similar position
• Proficiency in MS Office tool and knowledge of AutoCAD and ERP systems
• Knowledge of procurement regulation, policies, and practices
• Experience with other functional service organizations, i.e. purchasing and field procurement operation

Job location : Florence or Bologna

It is required availability to travel in other Italian Sites.
