A leading machinery company in Piedmont, Italy, is seeking a Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for aerial work platforms. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in service and maintenance, strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and a customer-oriented mindset. Frequent travel within the region is expected, alongside a technical diploma or degree in a relevant field.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in service/maintenance of construction machinery or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical circuits.
• Valid driving license; forklift license is an advantage.

Overview

Job Description – Service Engineer (Aerial Work Platforms)

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and repair services for aerial work platforms (AWP) at customer sites.
• Diagnose technical issues, propose solutions, and perform troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Support customers with technical advice, usage training, and preventive maintenance guidance.
• Prepare service reports, record spare parts usage, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with the spare parts and logistics team to ensure timely availability of components.
• Assist in warranty claim processes and provide feedback to R&D and HQ for product improvement.
• Occasionally travel across the assigned region (domestic and cross-border) for on-site service support.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in service / maintenance of construction machinery, aerial platforms, forklifts, or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and fault diagnosis.
• Valid driving license; forklift license is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, with strong customer-oriented mindset.
• Good communication skills in English; local language proficiency is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
