Role Summary

The role of Senior Solution Architect is to take ownership of a solution within Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation projects. The Solution Architect provides leadership and direction to the on-site implementation team on the design and execution of the solution and the definition of business process workflows that accompany the solution.

Responsibilities

• Leads WMS transformational projects and delivers the solution as the main point of contact
• Designs advanced creative solutions including integration and other technical aspects
• Drives end-to-end implementation of the WMS solution and integrations from design to go-live
• Leads design workshops for internal projects and participates in critical phases of partner implementations, providing recommendations on overall supply chain execution solution architecture, requirements, end-to-end workflows (WMS, TMS, WLM, WCS, Warehouse Automation / Robotics), and the integration needs within execution systems and host systems (ERP, Replenishment Planning, etc.)
• Partners with project managers in planning efforts
• Offers mentorship and product-level leadership to the broader Customer Success team

Qualifications / Skills

• Proven techno-functional leadership of BlueYonder WMS implementations (relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions may be considered)
• Strong domain knowledge of Supply Chain organisation within Retail, Manufacturing or 3PL
• Understanding or experience of agile methodologies concepts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels, including C-level
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills; strong troubleshooting (application and technical)
• Good understanding of end-to-end execution workflows, architecture, integration, and project lifecycle with ability to define implementation plans, identify cross-functional dependencies; SQL, relational DB systems
• Experience with any programming language (ability to read and work with code)
• Windows / Unix basics; SQL experience
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent in English; German, French, Spanish or Italian fluency highly desirable
