A leading energy solutions company in Italy is seeking a Sales Manager to drive local sales strategy and develop partnerships in the energy storage market. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in energy storage systems and a solid network. Required qualifications include fluency in Italian and English and strong negotiation skills. This role involves leading marketing initiatives and ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the local sales strategy based on the company’s long-term development goals and market strategy, implementing proactive sales approaches to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Develop sales plans and budgets tailored to the regional market, driving strategic market expansion and identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Effectively develop and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key customers.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from customer demand alignment, technical solution discussions, and bid negotiations to contract signing, coordinating with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis, including but not limited to national policies, channel information, and product trends, implementing precise and effective market strategies.
  • Lead regional marketing initiatives, participate in international exhibitions, industry forums, and branding activities to enhance the global recognition of the company’s products and solutions.
  • Execute company strategies and related policies, monitor payment collection, and ensure risk control.
  • Track industry trends (e.g., microgrids, virtual power plants, and other emerging applications) to drive product iterations that meet market demands.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in energy storage systems, PCS, microgrids, or related products. Candidates with an established customer network are preferred.
  • Familiarity with international business development processes, sales expansion, contract negotiation, and risk management. Experience in C&I energy storage or microgrid projects is a plus .
  • Strong understanding of energy storage system key parameters, with the ability to independently present products and communicate technical solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of the target region’s market culture and business practices, with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage the local market, with strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, keen observation skills, teamwork spirit, and professionalism.
Additional Requirements
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required;
  • Must have solid driving skills and a valid driver’s license.
