Resina Partners is supporting a leading manufacturer of sports flooring systems in the search for an experienced R&D Specialist to join its Adhesives division.

About the Company

A global player renowned for its rubber-based flooring systems for sports and commercial applications, with headquarters in Italy and a strong international footprint. Alongside its core flooring business, the company develops and manufactures polyurethane and epoxy binders/adhesives used in turf systems, rubber granulate flooring, and industrial bonding applications.

The Role

You’ll join the R&D team focusing on formulation, optimization, and testing of PU and epoxy adhesives, development of equivalent raw materials, and applied investigations to resolve field issues (whitening, poor adhesion, climatic resistance, etc). The position combines hands‑on lab work with strong supplier interaction and offers a career progression path toward higher technical responsibility — an excellent opportunity for a chemist ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and improve PU and epoxy adhesives.
• Select, qualify and homologate raw materials and equivalents.
• Investigate and resolve application or field performance issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in adhesive formulation (ideally PU and/or epoxy systems).
• Combines laboratory autonomy with strong applied problem‑solving skills.
• Speaks Italian and good English (supplier network is international).
• Collaborative yet confident working alongside senior technical experts.
• Willing to relocate to Alba (Piedmont) and work mainly on‑site.
