Engineering Activity Coordination experience in the field of water and wastewater process technologies
- Develop the project document list together with the Project Manager at project start-up
- Ensure proper coordination among the various engineering disciplines involved (both internal and outsourced), preventing inconsistencies between documents
- Participate in and lead technical meetings with the Customer, involving time by time the necessary project specialists
- Guarantee the proper knowledge and application of the project requirements among the engineering team
Planning and assurance
- Develop detailed engineering project plans, including, as necessary, milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, in accordance with the general project schedule developed by the Project Manager
- Ensuring that the engineering activities (preparation, submission, revision of engineering deliverables and tasks) are carried out according to schedule
- Monitor and report on the progress and possible deviations of the project
Budget and Resource Management
- Drawing up and monitoring project budgets (internal manhours and outsourced engineering services)
- Ensuring the efficient use of engineering competencies and capacities, periodically re-checking the suitability of the project-assigned resources and escalating to Disc. Leaders and HoE in case of resources-related criticalities
Change Management
- Support Project Manager in managing contract changes towards Customer, highlighting any potential change opportunity and taking care of the engineering impacts estimation
Quality and Risk Management
- Analyze and solve technical and organizational problems that arise during project implementation
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality standards and procedures within engineering projects
- Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to manage or mitigate them
- Conducting audits and quality checks to ensure that projects meet the required specifications
General
- Encourage a positive work culture, promote collaboration, communication and a problem-solving approach within the team
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technical and/or Project Management, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in an engineering environment, Proven track record in a technical position.
