Senior Production Planner

Your key responsibilities

• Define a reliable production planning and scheduling of the proper production lines through the analysis of the customer demand and the capacity production lines.
• Control the availability of the materials for assuring the production continuity of the shop floor through the definition of the priorities to the Quality Control for the release.
• Assure the periodical revision of required planning parameters for keeping the inventory level as low as possible on the semi‑finished raw and packaging materials.
• Manage the change of packaging materials for being in compliance with the regulatory requirements and minimizing the related write‑off cost.
• Assure on time responsiveness to the customer requests.
• Support the Planning and Logistics Manager in leading the Sales and Operations Planning process through the analysis of the demand, the capacity loading and the definition of the shift strategy for the proper production lines.
• Keep track of weekly and monthly Planning KPI.
• Maintain Planning Parameters for materials code in SAP.
• Report the outcome of the execution of the planning highlighting root‑causes and possible action plan to recover.
• Fine scheduling on the proper manufacturing and packaging lines.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service for order prioritization and production delays management.

Your profile

• University degree in Engineering or Economics Engineering or other related fields.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in production planning.
• Previous experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
• Experience in MRP / ERP system (SAP preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of Power BI tools (queries and analysis result).
• Good data analysis and reporting skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel).
• In depth knowledge of the supply chain process (APICS certification preferred).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a logical way of thinking.
• Fluency in Italian and English written and spoken.
• Team‑working player.
• Proactive attitude for improving innovation and challenging the status quo.
• Good communication skills and relationship attitude.
