Your day at NTT DATA

Based in Milan, the NTT team will collaborate with the customer's IT team locally and internationally, focusing on Network and Network Security infrastructure.

You will work on IT environments mainly focused on Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, F5, Vmware Velocloud, Riverbed technologies.

Being a member of this project, you will have the opportunity to join NTT, a leader in Network Managed Services, and work with a multinational company leader in the eyewear and eye care industry, continuing to evolve your skills and competencies.

What you'll be doing

As a Network Engineer L3 , you will act as a Senior Technical Specialist involved in consultancy and implementation of medium / high complexity projects and supporting the Network Operations team in resolving complex infrastructure issues.

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Analyzing the customer's current infrastructure, discussing project requirements, and executing design solutions;
• Defining and executing proofs of concept (POC) with the customer;
• Performing configurations and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle;
• Project governance;
• Assisting in maintenance and change management activities;
• Preparing high-level and low-level design documentation and technical project presentations.

Qualifications and skills required :

• IT educational background;
• At least 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in a medium-complexity environment;
• Cisco Certifications (CCNP); additional vendor certifications from Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, VMware are a plus;
• Excellent organizational and communication skills;
• Ability to work in virtual and hybrid teams;
• Strong customer-oriented approach;
• Ability to demonstrate technical leadership;
• Mentoring junior team members when necessary;
• Proficiency in Italian and English (French is a plus);
• Willingness to travel abroad when required;
• Availability for on-duty scheduling.
