We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

Our company was founded in 2002 with the specific aim of building a state-of-the-art Application-to-Person (A2P) SMS messaging platform, unrivalled in reliability, that could support the requirements of a new wave of A2P services. Agile Telecom was acquired in 2015 by MailUp Group, today renamed Growens Group.

Your impact:

You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deploying. Java developer responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low-latency multi-threaded applications for mission-critical systems.

Some examples of your responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications collaborating with the Agile team of reference;
• Translate the user requirements provided by the analysis team into solid code and propose technical solutions as well as share best practices;
• Design and develop cloud-oriented RESTful microservices;
• Perform accurate unit and regression testing on the implemented solutions;
• Manage rapid and impactful release situations effectively;
• Apply strong problem-solving and problem determination skills;
• Work with high standards of quality and precision and be autonomous in managing assigned projects;

What we are looking for - Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Java (version 11 / 17), including Multithreading, Memory Management, Transaction management;
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, ELK);
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Experience with message brokers such as ActiveMQ;
• Intermediate to upper-intermediate English skills (B1/B2);

What we are looking for - Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced use of the Linux operating system;
• Experience with GIT version control;
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure);
• Experience with continuous integration systems;
• Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana for application metrics;
• Experience with Quarkus (nice to have);
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tools;
• Experience with image generation and publishing models integration.
