A global engineering firm is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Analyst in Rome, Italy, to join its IT Infrastructure Team. This role requires senior experience in IT infrastructure, excellent project management skills, and expertise in server, network, and system administration. The successful candidate will participate in global IT initiatives, support infrastructure projects, and maintain operational excellence. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, along with project management methodologies, is essential for success in this position.

Your Job

The Senior Infrastructure Analyst is a key member of the global KES IT Infrastructure Team, responsible for supporting and evolving the company’s IT infrastructure across multiple regions.

This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic collaboration, contributing to global initiatives and ensuring alignment with KES IT standards and business goals.

Our Team

This role is embedded within the IT Infrastructure Project Capability, contributing to the successful delivery of infrastructure-related projects. The role requires strong project management awareness and the ability to work within structured project environments.

What You Will Do

Global KES IT Infrastructure Team Member

• Actively contribute to the productivity and success of the global infrastructure team
• Support the execution of global IT strategy and project deliverables
• Provide technical support for global infrastructure and IT resources
• Share technical knowledge and best practices across teams
• Keep project teams and leadership informed of progress and challenges

Ensure complete and accurate project documentation

• Manage and support infrastructure in accordance with KES IT policies and standards
• Work with cross‑functional teams to reduce infrastructure complexity and improve performance
• Participate in shaping and implementing infrastructure strategies for servers, systems, and networks
• Provide hands‑on support for our three locations in Italy (Aprilia, Campobasso, Vimercate)
• Actively contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement

IT Infrastructure Project Capability Contributor

• Participate in the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects
• Apply project management principles to ensure scope, schedule, and quality targets are met
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs
• Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and resource coordination
• Maintain clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Senior experience in IT infrastructure, ideally in a global or enterprise environment
• Strong expertise in server, network, and system administration

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)

• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., ADO, MS Project)
• Ability to manage priorities, communicate effectively, and work within structured project frameworks
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
• Structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented working style
