Working as a key member of the Central Controlling team, you will act as a Business Partner for the IT and Digital Transformation department globally. Your mission is to ensure financial transparency, strategic alignment, and performance optimisation for technology‑driven business solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Financial Reporting, Accounting & Performance Analysis
- Lead and improve financial closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annual), ensuring accuracy, timeliness and insightful variance analysis.
- Manage accounting closing processes and ensure accurate financial statements in compliance with standards.
- Develop impactful financial dashboards and KPI analyses to support executive decision‑making.
- Identify cost efficiencies while balancing innovation and operational needs.
- Drive annual budgeting and rolling forecasts for IT and Digital programmes, aligned with strategic transformation roadmaps.
- Facilitate cross‑functional alignment between controlling, IT governance and transformation offices.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, Group Accounting standards and local financial regulations.
- Guide process improvements by driving digitalisation and automation in financial reporting and controlling, while leading project tracking and performance monitoring.
- Support assurance activities including audit processes, regulatory inquiries and financial risk assessments, with a particular focus on digital operations and controls.
- IT Capex, Investment & Project Controlling
- Provide financial leadership in the Digital initiatives business case development, investment proposals and lifecycle cost analysis.
- Collaborate with PMO and IT leaders to align strategic priorities with financial execution and controlling metrics.
- Monitor Capex execution by projects and coordinate IR preparation, submission and follow‑up.
What’s needed for you to thrive
- University degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes and reporting standards.
- Proven experience with IT and digital transformation projects, with the ability to translate technical requirements into effective financial controls.
- Fluent English is essential, both written and spoken, for daily communication in an international environment.
- Basic understanding of Italian is required to interact with local teams and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Familiarity with JDE (JD Edwards) ERP systems for financial and operational processes.
- Experience with BI automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik or similar) to support reporting and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Analytical & organized: translates complex financial data into clear insights for decision‑making.
- Accounting mindset: strong ability to interpret KPIs, performance metrics and reporting accuracy.
- Data‑driven & results‑oriented: uses quantitative analysis to drive efficiency and impact.
