A leading company in the fashion industry based in Rozzano, Italy, is seeking a Senior Business Controller. This role involves calculating costs, monitoring margins, and preparing monthly forecasts. Candidates should have a Master's degree and at least 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fashion sector. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Note that this job opportunity does not include smart working.

For our client, a semi‑little Italian company in the fashion and luxury goods sector, we are looking for a Senior Business Controller.

Responsibilities

• Calculating and monitoring costs and margins, implementing actions plan to maximize efficiency and providing indications to accounting department.
• Monitoring production accounting with analysis of deviations from production price lists and standard production costs.
• Preparing and managing monthly forecasts for the period based on data provided by accounting.
• Updating and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) for business performance.
• Financial and business evaluation of new investment initiatives.
• Performing ad hoc analyses for management to share results and support decisions.
• Providing sales and margin analysis for each business unit and company level.
• Preparing budgets, monitoring results, and identifying corrective actions in case of deviations from targets.
• Allocating cost/revenue items through analytical accounting entries aimed at determining monthly operating results.
• Developing business plans and collaborating in management deck presentations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics, Management Engineering or similar.
• At least 7 years of previous experience as a Senior Business Controller, preferably within the fashion and luxury industry.
• Excellent knowledge of main IT tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
