Job title : Senior Analyst, Supply Planning

Function : Regional Supply Planning

Duration : Permanent role

Location : Arese

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Supply Planning team, focused on Finished Goods across our In-house / External manufacturing operations. This role sits at the heart of our European supply chain and plays a key part in ensuring our products are available where and when they’re needed.

You’ll manage both inventory and production planning for a portfolio of products with real market impact. That means balancing service levels, working capital, and production capacity - while working closely with teams across Europe, including factories, procurement, product change management and commercial hubs, and or external manufacturers.

This position involves a schedule of recurring, time-sensitive tasks, requiring a hands‑on approach to operations, while also offering opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

If you’re passionate about supply chain, enjoy solving dynamic problems, and want to make a tangible difference in a fast‑moving FMCG environment, we’d love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own a portfolio of products and manage their inventory and production planning across multiple European markets.
  • Define and monitor stock levels at our distribution centers to meet service targets and optimize working capital.
  • Build and maintain the master production schedule, aligning demand with factory / external manufacturers capacity, materials, and business rules.
  • Contribute to monthly S&OP reviews and weekly S&OE processes, helping shape long‑term plans and short‑term decisions.
  • Use planning tools (ERP, APS, analytics) to keep information flowing accurately and efficiently across the network.
  • Support product changes - like new launches or restages - by aligning supply plans with project timelines.
  • Run long‑term supply assessments and support strategic projects like make‑or‑buy evaluations.
  • Maintain SAP master data to support effective production and distribution planning.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, ideally in planning roles
  • A degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field
  • Ability to turn dynamic data into clear, actionable plans
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • APICS, IBF or Lean certifications would be plus
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Software such as SAP (PP, MM), APO, Kinaxis, Tableau
  • Experience leading projects or initiatives
  • Additional European languages - especially Italian - are a plus
  • Experience in FMCG environments would be an advantage
Behaviors you’ll need
  • Proactive, practical, problem‑solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working with diverse teams across different countries and functions.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
What’s in it for you?

We offer an excellent opportunity for career development and progression, a highly collaborative work environment and an autonomous and flexible working culture where you will be able to add value and be recognized and rewarded.
