A leading consultancy firm is looking for a freelance SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant for a 3-6 month contract in Italy. The role involves performing technical quality assurance on SAC developments, reviewing code, and collaborating with teams to ensure quality delivery. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in SAC and experience in the FMCG industry. This role is primarily remote with occasional travel to Milan.

Overview

We are currently supporting a leading FMCG client who is looking to engage a freelance SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant for an initial 3-6 month contract. This role is focused on technical quality assurance of SAC planning developments, working closely with both the system integrator and the internal project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical quality assurance on SAC planning developments.
• Review and validate code (e.g., JavaScript routines) to ensure best practices.
• Recommend and implement standard SAC functionalities over custom solutions where possible.
• Collaborate with internal teams and system integrator to ensure quality delivery.
• Stay current with new SAP features and updates to drive continuous improvement.

Ideal Profile

• Strong expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), particularly Planning.
• Ability to review, challenge, and improve technical developments.
• Experience in code review (e.g., JavaScript routines) and solution optimisation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of SAC capabilities and roadmap.
• FMCG industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Contract Details

• Duration: 3-6 months (with possible extension)
• Location: Primarily remote, with occasional travel to Milan
• Start Date: ASAP
