A leading technology consulting firm in Italy is seeking a Project Manager to lead large project initiatives and manage multiple client engagements. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in SAP implementations and strong project management skills. This role involves building client relationships and delivering projects on time and within budget. Fluency in English and Italian is required.

TheVistex Project Managerwill lead large project initiatives or manage multiple engagements for a single Vistex customer.The primary responsibility of this role is to build client relationships and successfully deliver the assigned projects.The Vistex Project Manager will provide thought leadership across all technical and business process aspects for the engagements they manage.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple clients/projects at any given time
• Assist in pre-sales activities and expanding Vistex consulting services
• Assist with scoping and estimating project work
• Identify and close new service opportunities for your assigned clients
• Identify appropriate consulting skills required for the projects
• Onsite Lead for implementation project(s)
• Manage the SOW/Contract requirements and related change requests (CR)
• Adhere to all documented PMO process and procedures (DM Manual and related documentation)
• Define deliverables, templates and standards for the project
• Develop and manage detailed integrated project plan includingproject milestone and deliverables
• Identify, track, and report project performance metrics to the client
• Manage project issues/risks, scope, budgets and client expectations
• First point of escalation for project related issues
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with key client and implementation partner stakeholders
• Monitor budget to actual project expenditures, headcount and deliverable completion
• Manage and maintain project financials (resources, schedule and budget)
• Develop in depth knowledge of project implementation methodologies and best practices

Qualifications

• EDUCATION
• Masters or better in Engineering Computer Systems or related field
• EXPERIENCE
• Experience working with Big 4 or other large consulting firms a plus
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans
• Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• English and Italian language skills (both written and spoken), additional languages advantageous
• 6 - 8 years: Experience in multiple SAP full lifecycle software implementations
• 6 - 8 years: Order to Cash & Finance area
• 3 - 4 years: 3+ years’ of SAP project management experience
