Sales Engineer Aerospace & Defence - Italy

For our Test & Measurement sales division in Rome, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales Engineer for the Aerospace & Defense market in the Centre of Italy. The candidate will be based in our Rome office.

Responsibilities
  • Promote R&S solutions in our main Aerospace & Defence accounts like LEONARDO, MBDA, Government Agency, Military forces.
  • Keep and create sustainable valued relationships with assigned customers while achieving annual business target in the area of responsibility.
  • Develop and close new sales opportunities.
  • Consult with customers to understand and address their technical and business requirements with R&S solutions/services that meet their needs.
  • Plan and execute account development initiatives to generate demand in key accounts.
  • Follow up on public and private tenders.
  • Build a clear picture of opportunities at the accounts to drive solutions and product development based on priorities within R&S.
Qualifications
  • Electronics/Telecom based degree qualification or similar.
  • Security clearance required.
  • Proven understanding of A&D market from a current or previous similar role.
  • Excellent B2B communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer focus with ability to build sustainable and strong relationships, understand and anticipate customer needs and act to fulfill them.
  • Mother language Italian, fluent in English.
