A global leader in laboratory technologies is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager for Central Italy. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in Chemistry and sales experience in laboratory environments, particularly in the Pharma sector. Responsibilities include generating sales, developing customer relationships, and understanding client needs. The position offers a permanent contract, company car, and the opportunity to work remotely. Fluent Italian and good English required.

Competenze

Responsibilities
  • Generating existing and/or new sales across different accounts & industry on your designated territory.
  • Developing accounts and maintaining positive ongoing long‑term relationships with key customers.
  • Acting to understand customer needs and identifying solutions to non‑standard tasks/queries to create business opportunities.
  • Promoting and selling products and/or solutions to current or new customers and informing customers of new product introductions.
  • Creating monitors and revising lead generation plans.
  • Determining and developing approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/strategies.
  • Leading projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations.
Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:

  • University degree in Chemistry (preferably Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry) or another Life Sciences‑related field.
  • Experience in selling products and solutions to laboratory environments (preferably with a strong focus on the Pharma and Biopharma industries) and good knowledge of laboratory workflows.
  • Good knowledge of analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectrometry and/or spectroscopy.
  • Full proficiency in Italian and at least a good level of English.

On a personal level, you are autonomous, outgoing and customer focused. You also have excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills to interact with many external and internal partners. You show a real can‑do attitude, resilience and you like to help others. While being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
