We are seeking an exceptional Maître d'Hôtel to lead the dining experience across our two restaurants, lounge, and pool service, ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality.

Role Overview

As the Maître d'Hôtel, you will be the ambassador of Villa Eden's dining experience. With a strong sense of leadership and an eye for detail, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurants, lounge, and pool service. Your role will be to inspire and guide the team to deliver impeccable service, creating unforgettable moments for our discerning international guests.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of service in our two restaurants, lounge, and pool areas, ensuring flawless operations.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the service team, fostering a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure a seamless dining experience, from service flow to menu knowledge.
  • Uphold and enhance Villa Eden's reputation for elegance and exclusivity through meticulous service and guest engagement.
  • Oversee the preparation of service areas, ensuring readiness and ambiance align with our luxury standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, preferences, and special requests with professionalism and discretion, anticipating their needs to deliver personalized experiences.
  • Manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and maintaining team morale.
  • Monitor and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards across all areas of responsibility.
  • Support the Food & Beverage Manager in developing service concepts, implementing improvements, and maintaining consistency in standards.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Maître d'Hôtel or Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment is essential. Experience in Michelin-starred establishments or Leading Hotels of the World is a strong advantage.
  • Languages: Fluency in English, Italian, and German is required; additional languages are an asset.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; in-depth knowledge of fine dining, wine, and beverage service; strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
  • Personal Attributes: Passion for luxury hospitality and an unwavering commitment to excellence; eye for detail; dedication to creating memorable guest experiences; poise, professionalism, and discretion in guest interactions.
