We are looking for a dedicated Regulatory Assistant to join our EMEA-APAC Regulatory Affairs team. This role is focused on supporting the compliance efforts related to:

  • Chemical regulations (REACH and CLP)
  • Fertilizing product regulations (EU and extra EU markets)

The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that the company’s chemical products meet all regulatory requirements and standards for safety, classification, labeling, and packaging in line with EU and Extra EU regulations. She/he will support the preparation, submission, and tracking of fertilizer product registrations, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

REACH Compliance Support:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that product safety data sheets (SDS) are compliant with REACH requirements.
  • Maintain and update raw material database and product safety data sheets (SDS).
  • Support the evaluation and management of any regulatory updates affecting REACH.

CLP Compliance Support:

  • Assist in the classification, labeling, and packaging of products according to the CLP regulation.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of CLP Poison Centres Notification to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) submission portal.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that packaging meets the requirements of CLP and other relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of registration dossiers for fertilizer products in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Ensure that all regulatory files are well-organized and maintained in compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation (e.g., product formulations, safety data sheets, labels) is complete and accurate for submission to regulatory authorities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with innovation, sales, safety, and legal teams to ensure all regulatory obligations are met for chemical products.
    • Support the team in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of national and international fertilizer regulations and requirements.
    • Assist in preparing regulatory communication to customers and stakeholders.
  • Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
    • Experience: Previous experience (1-2 years) in a regulatory or compliance role.

    Skills:

      • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
      • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
