The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and has 2-3 years of experience in technical support, along with knowledge of lighting products and software tools like Dialux and AutoCAD. Strong communication skills are essential, and proficiency in Italian is advantageous. This position offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to contribute to innovative projects.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to sales, design, and project teams on lighting products, specifications, and applications.

Prepare and review technical submittals, datasheets, shop drawings, and compliance documents.

Assist in selecting suitable lighting fixtures, drivers, and control systems for projects.

Respond to client, consultant, and contractor technical inquiries promptly and professionally.

Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and project teams for approvals, product information, and technical clarifications.

Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and value engineering of lighting systems.

Conduct product testing and evaluate samples to ensure quality, performance, and project compatibility.

Review, revise, and validate test reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.

Maintain technical documentation, stay updated on lighting technologies, and ensure compliance with standards.

Prepare technical reports and provide internal and external reporting while maintaining proper documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2–3 years of experience in lighting technical support or a similar role.

Knowledge of lighting products, drivers, control systems, and electrical standards.

Experience with Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.

Skilled in technical submittals, datasheets, shop drawings, and test reports.

Experience in product testing, sample evaluation, and report revision.

Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.

Ability to speak Italian is an advantage.

Working Schedule in UAE time

Monday to Friday 9:00am-1:00pm, 1:30pm-6:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support covering Southern Europe. This role is highly collaborative and requires drive, organisation, and excellent NGS background. You will work closely with different business sectors and deliver technical support activities to achieve customer satisfaction and business growth.

Location

Remote (Ideally at Florence, Rome or Napoli)

Responsible for communicating with sales teams to promote the transformation of business opportunities, completing quarterly and annual payment collection and settlement targets.

Responsible for timely communication with customers to solve pre‑sales problems and providing customers with solutions when necessary.

Support the analysis of regional potential customer groups and collect relevant customer information.

Support dynamic research and analysis on market requirements, product competitiveness, and the latest industrial science and technologies.

Business travel when required to support client meetings and Company events.

Support other business requirements when needed.

Your skills and experience

• PhD. / M.S in molecular biology, genetics and related majors. Experience in high‑throughput sequencing is preferred;

Outstanding listening, verbal and written English communication skills.

Be proactive. Have pioneering spirit. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Good at communication and team work.

Native language speaking will be a big plus.
