A leading quality management firm in Turin is looking for a Quality Manager to improve and oversee the Quality Management System. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards, leading a quality team, and collaborating with production to enhance processes. Ideal candidates have a technical background, solid automotive experience, and strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English is required.

Competenze

• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is required.
• Solid experience in a similar role, particularly in the automotive sector.
• In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards.

Mansioni

• Manage the Quality Management System compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Lead the quality team and oversee inspection activities.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation like Control Plans, FMEA, and SPC.

Conoscenze

Technical degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar)

Solid experience in a similar role within the automotive sector

Strong skills in reading mechanical technical drawings

Proficiency in measuring tools and CMM

Knowledge of quality methodologies (8D, FMEA, etc.)

Quality Manager

The resource, oversee and continuously improve the Company Quality Management System and will have to work with a very operational and pragmatic approach and attitude, collaborating daily with all company entities and spending a lot of time in production and in the Workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, update, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards
• Lead the quality team and supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation (Control Plans, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.)
• Handle internal and external audits, non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with the technical office and production department for process improvement initiatives
• Analyze customer complaints and lead problem-solving and improvement plans
• Perform dimensional inspections using CMM machines and PolyWorks software
• Accurately interpret complex technical mechanical drawings
• Train staff on quality procedures and standards

Requirements

• Technical degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar)

• Strong skills in reading and interpreting mechanical technical drawings
• Proficiency in the use of measuring tools and CMM (Mitutoyo with PolyWorks software)
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC
• Very good in English, written and spoken
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
