A renewable energy company in Italy is seeking a PV Delivery Engineer to manage on-site project tasks for photovoltaic projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in PV project delivery and a BSc in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. Responsibilities include conducting technical briefings, supervising installations, and communicating with clients. This full-time position requires fluent English and a willingness to travel frequently across the EU and globally.

PV Delivery Engineer

Location: Italy. Pay: €40,000 - €60,000 per year + Benefits. This role requires fluent English speaking. The candidate can be based anywhere in Italy and has full working rights to live and work in Italy.

The role involves on‑site project management for end‑to‑end delivery of PV projects, including frequent extensive travel inside the EU and globally, fully expensed by the client.

Responsibilities

• Manage on‑site project management tasks such as inspection of materials on arrival, conducting technical briefings, supervising installation training, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Provide on‑site guidance on bracket installation, closely monitor project progress, and work with customers and installation teams to solve installation challenges in a timely manner, including managing emergencies.
• Work with project manager to ensure installation quality and effectively handle feedback related to installation issues.
• Manage delivery of materials to the site, assist the business department with project delivery inspection, and resolve payment matters.
• Communicate effectively with customers on site activities, understand customer needs in depth, and implement on‑site commissioning and acceptance procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience delivering PV projects.
• PV experience in parts/ station building, etc.
• Registered PV Engineer.
• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Strong professional ethics, professionalism, high sense of responsibility, excellent communication and coordination ability, resilience under pressure, adaptability to new environments, and tenacious work attitude.
• Willingness to accept long‑term and frequent travel.
