KWS Italia S.p.A. is looking to recruit a Purchase Assistant (m/f/d) at the earliest opportunity to join their Forlì office for supporting the holistic supply chain management process within the region South Europe + MEA of the Business Unit Corn Europe.


This position is full-time and permanent.

What you can expect in this role:

  • Supporting the holistic supply chain management process within the region South Europe + MEA of the Business Unit Corn Europe.
  • Taking care about the purchase and processing orders flow in constant cooperation and communication with the production/processing countries and their facilities.
  • Register all necessary information in SAP connected with orders (from placing the order to invoice registration).
  • Prepare and share reports and analysis regarding the purchase process activities
  • Ensure a constant and proper communication and support with suppliers, with processing stations and the other involved stakeholders
  • Working in close relation with the logistics team and the local and international suppliers and couriers to ensure on-time delivery of the products.
  • Ensuring all daily tasks connected to purchase activities for the region
  • Prepare and share reports and analysis regarding the purchase process activities
  • When necessary, give support to the logistic and delivery process
  • Taking part in the regional planning process activities in close cooperation with the countries and the regional management.

What you bring in:

  • Previous experience in the purchase area of an international company would be a plus
  • Knowledge of basics of business economics
  • Fluent in English is a must, French knowledge is a plus
  • SAP knowledge (MM/SD modules) would be preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office products, with a specific focus on Excel
  • General understanding of the supply chain processes in an international environment
  • Support and flexibility towards new activities and willingness to carry on the communication in a multinational team
