About the position:

Within the New Units Business Line the Proposal Manager will be to manage and create compelling technical and commercial proposals for domestic and international customers in the electrical power generation market to secure energy transition. Proposals are a mix of key equipment supply contracts and turnkey EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) contracts, including proposal in consortiums with international construction companies.

Main activities:

  • Lead the assigned proposal team members to develop and submit , together with the Sales Manager, the final proposal to the customer.
  • Establish together with the Sales Manager a winning strategy for the proposal
  • Negotiate and form partnerships/consortiums with external companies together with the Sales Manager, when required by the proposal.
  • Define the proposal structure, create a proposal schedule, ensuring that Customer’s specification for proposal are correctly interpreted and followed by the proposal team.
  • Ensure technical risk and commercial analysis, prepare a mitigation plan for identified potential project execution risks, including the consolidation of technical, commercial, legal comments to customer specification.
  • Coordinate the competitive costs elaboration within the proposal team.
  • Follow the proposal New Unit’s risk review and approval process prior to submission.
  • Ensure that the proposal documentation is submitted according to the Company standards and with a high quality and responsive to customer request.
  • Attend in post-bid clarifications and negotiations with the customer.
  • Manage and coordinate customer clarifications during the negotiation phase together with the Sales Manager
  • Update all key proposal documents to reflect the “as-sold” condition.
  • Together with Sales, responsible in transferring won projects to the project execution organization.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of three 3 years of experience in power generation or similar industry in Project Management, Project Engineering, Proposals Sales.
  • Excellent attention to detail, a commitment to quality, results driven and customer focused.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively analyze technical and commercial aspects.
  • Proven track record of building strong working relationships and executing across all functions and levels of an organization.
  • Developed skills in project management tools and MS Office products.
  • Fluent knowledge of English
