Job Description

Are you a professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast‑developing business? Join our team as a Project Manager based in Seregno, Italy, within the Systems and Software organization.

Bringing your experience from the automation industry and in projects related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS), you will lead initiatives from start to finish, managing scope, budget, timelines, and quality while guiding your team to success. You will take ownership of project planning, risk and change management, proposal reviews, and coordination with both internal and external partners. You will also contribute to process improvements and support the development of less experienced team members.

We are looking for a professional with solid project management experience, preferably PMP certified, and a strong background in systems, software, or process automation. Financial awareness, customer focus, and leadership skills are key to success in this role.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Delivering assigned projects within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets.
• Managing and reporting all resource requirements and financial aspects.
• Driving proactive management of project changes and risks.
• Applying PMO project execution methodologies to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Overseeing all project administration, ensuring accurate documentation and maintained records.
• Providing strong leadership to project teams and fostering effective collaboration.
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced project managers to promote growth and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborating with internal teams on proposals, staffing, and process improvement initiatives.

Who You Are :

You are a seasoned professional with hands‑on experience in industrial automation projects, accustomed to delivering projects and achieving customer satisfaction. You actively listen, adapt your communication to meet the needs of diverse partners, and anticipate customer needs to deliver services beyond expectations. You leverage customer insights to guide improvements and new offerings, and you collaborate effectively to help others across the organization achieve shared objectives. You demonstrate strong financial acumen, understanding the drivers of business performance and effectively managing budgets, costs, and resources to deliver profitable results.

For This Role, You Will Need :

• Technical degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proven background in systems, software, process automation, or application engineering, with strong project management experience and solid understanding of DCS systems (preferably DeltaV)
• Sound financial acumen and business understanding
• Proficient in English and Italian
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
• Valid driving license

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :

• Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units
• PMP certification and further education in business administration, operations, or project management
