Un importante operatore ferroviario cerca un Project Manager a Pistoia, Italia. Il candidato ideale dovrebbe avere esperienza nella gestione di progetti complessi in un contesto multinazionale, oltre a forti capacità comunicative. Si richiede una laurea in ingegneria e competenze elevate in Microsoft Office. Questa posizione offre l'opportunità di interfacciarsi direttamente con i clienti e gestire la profittabilità del progetto.

Competenze

• 3-5 anni di esperienza nella gestione di progetti in un'organizzazione multinazionale.
• Certificazione Project Management Professional (PMP o IPMA) è un plus.
• Competenza superiore in PowerPoint ed Excel.

Mansioni

• Gestire la consegna del progetto, rispettando i requisiti contrattuali.
• Essere il principale contatto con il cliente.
• Approvare il master schedule e gestire il piano di fatturazione.

Overview

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Pistoia, Italy.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Accountability for the delivery of the project, meeting contractual requirements and delivering on budget, on quality and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction. The Project Manager is ultimately accountable for project profit and loss.

The PM ensures that project risks are correctly identified and managed. With the support of the Risk Manager, the PM manages the periodic update of the project risks in accordance with internal risk management procedures and proposes to top management the contingency strategy.

The PM manages the evaluation and allocation of project risk contingencies as needed and agreed with Team Members. The utilisation of contingencies is authorised by the PM with the support of the Project Controller.

The PM is responsible for the relationship with the Customer, being its direct interface, for all aspects related to the management of the project. Any direct contact between the Project Team Members and the Customer must be coordinated by the PM.

Among Project Manager key activities and accountabilities:

• Approve the master schedule and the second level schedule issued by the Project Planner;
• Authorize any change to the project baseline that has an impact on product costs, schedule, contractual obligations;
• Manage requests for variation from the customer, from offer preparation to its negotiation with the customer;
• Approve sub-contracts / Letters of Intent relevant to Key Sub-Supplies and to RSBU Legal Entities before their signature in order to ensure they align with the project budget, schedule and contractual requirements.
• Manage the Project Monthly and Quarterly Progress Reports and Meetings including the economic and financial progress reports issued by Project Controller;
• Approve and manage any type of communications related to the project toward the customer.
• Manage the invoicing plan;
• Manage the delivery of products to customer.
• Lead the Project Team.

Job requirements

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Proven 3-5 years of working experience in project management in a medium/complex multinational organization
• Excellent team working attitude
• Demonstrate the ability to develop strong, constructive and focused relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong problem solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A high level of competence with Microsoft Office, excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP or IPMA) certification is a plus

Education/Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in appropriate field (Engineer).

Languages

• English (level C1 certificate or more).
• German (level B2 certificate or more).
