A renewable energy firm in Milan is looking for a Project Developer to manage project portfolios, coordinate with external partners, and analyze renewable energy project feasibility. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Engineering and experience in project development. This full-time position offers opportunities for professional growth and requires occasional travel within Italy.

Project Developer

Reporting directly to the Head of Development, the Project Developer will support the Development team in the management of project portfolios, taking responsibility for the following key tasks:

• Coordinating and interfacing with external developers and engineering service providers;
• Analyzing renewable energy projects to assess their feasibility and profitability;
• Supporting the Business Development team in acquiring land for PV projects;
• Supporting the Business Development team in M&A transactions;
• Using available simulation tools to assess project capacity;
• Reviewing design documents prepared by external developers before submission for project authorization;
• Assisting the permitting process by engaging with local authorities and attending authorization meetings (e.g., conferenze dei servizi);
• Supporting other internal functions (e.g., EPC management, asset management, etc.), when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Engineering;
• At least 1-2 years of valuable experience in renewable energy project development;
• In-depth knowledge of sector regulations and local/regional regulations;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Excellent project coordination and teamwork capabilities;
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy.
