Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Project Coordinator in Segrate (Milan), Italy.

Key responsibilities:
  • Handling and managing general cargo and project shipments, incl. full operational (technical) and cost control / profitability (commercial) aspects
  • Serving as a point of contact for clients, partners and other offices for any project operations-related issues
  • Shipping all kind of cargo, incl. out-of-gauge and heavy lift cargo across the globe
  • Coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors, sourcing competitive rates from potential subcontractors
  • Calculating and monitoring project profits
  • Supporting sales team in writing up offers and proposals to clients
  • Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business environment
  • Supporting management (local and regional) in reporting, etc.
Skills, knowledge and expertise:
  • Successfully completed training in the field of freight forwarding
  • Work experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations, coordination and management
  • Know-how in freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight, incl. break bulk, is an advantage
  • Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
  • Able to communicate in English, both written and verbal
