Senior Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

The successful candidate, within the technical department of the product development team, will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining assembly lines and testing machines for measuring sensors production. This includes designing mechanical parts for complex testing machines and assembly lines, managing the integration of commercial parts with components according to drawings, producing technical documentation, and collaborating with the automation department on hardware and software co-engineering. The role also involves supporting equipment maintenance and restart operations.

Profile

Applicants should hold a technical qualification, Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, or an equivalent technical diploma with design experience.

Basic requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of CAD design systems (CREO preferred) and a passion for mechanical technologies (lathes, milling machines, grinding machines).
• Interest in alternating pure mechanical design with technical interventions in a production environment.
• Creativity and a solution-oriented mindset, considering resource constraints (time and costs).

Preferred characteristics:

• Ability to work effectively in a team, with good listening and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with third-party suppliers of mechanical components.

Experience in manufacturing and manual skills are positively valued.
