Job Overview

We're looking for a Product Designer who can bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and elegant user interfaces. You'll be designing experiences for technical users who need powerful tools that make cybersecurity easy for them.

Product work at Exein is about understanding real‑time device monitoring architectures, firmware vulnerability scanning workflows, and compliance reporting requirements, then translating that complexity into modern interfaces.

The role will report to the Head of Product under CTO and work alongside another product designer.

What You'll Work On

• Integrating AI‑powered features into the product
• Scoping and owning features end‑to‑end from requirements gathering through launch
• Creating delight through UI interactions, animations and modern interface design

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience, with at least 3 years in B2B/enterprise software
• Technical fluency: You can facilitate requirements gathering with backend, frontend, and security engineering teams. You understand API architectures, database constraints, and technical tradeoffs well enough to advocate for users while working within engineering realities.
• Strong UI craft: Your interfaces are clean, functional, and demonstrate mastery of information hierarchy, typography, spacing, and interaction patterns. Portfolio must show complex B2B applications, not just marketing sites.
• Data visualization experience: You've designed dashboards, charts, and data‑heavy interfaces for technical or analytical users.
• Systems thinking: You can design at the component level while maintaining consistency across a platform. You think in design systems, not one‑off screens.
• Requirements definition: You can translate vague customer requests into detailed user stories, edge cases, and design specifications that engineering can build from.
• Advanced Figma skills.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience in cybersecurity
• Familiarity with IoT, embedded systems, or firmware concepts
