POSTING PRESENTATION:

You will play a key role in the SiC Technology volume ramp-up at ST, based in our new mass-production fab in Catania, Italy, dedicated to SiC substrate wafers. This facility is Europe's first of its kind for volume SiC epitaxial substrate production, integrating all production steps.

There is a strong collaboration with STMicroelectronics Silicon Carbide AB in Norrköping, Sweden, offering opportunities for on-site training and collaboration. This center has been developing SiC technology for over 20 years.

Your main responsibility will be to facilitate the transition from R&D to mass production, focusing on qualifying new measurement equipment and monitoring its performance in the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the start-up of the new fab, coordinating equipment installation with suppliers
• Qualify, accept, and monitor new tools; develop preventive maintenance schedules
• Monitor tool performance and troubleshoot equipment faults
• Develop strategies to enhance process and equipment robustness
• Perform Measurement System Analysis to ensure tool capability
• Optimize process and equipment performance to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and cycle time
• Lead the team to meet strategic objectives

Profile Required:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Engineering or related scientific fields
• Experience in silicon processing is advantageous
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Fluent in English
• Good communication skills and team-oriented
