In Europe, we work closely with our customers to deliver custom‑made and specialized services across International Organizations, Space, Immigration, and Defence. We provide tailored services for various public sector bodies including European Institutions, the Belgian and German Defence, the European Space Agency, and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). Our expertise spans IT services, Facility Management, Space Research, and Operations.


Key Purpose

The Payroll and Reward Partner serves as the central point of contact for HR teams across all countries within the Europe Business Unit, ensuring seamless coordination and support on payroll and reward matters. This role is responsible for managing relationships with external payroll providers and internal payroll leads, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. In the area of Reward, the Partner acts as the vital link between the European BU and both Divisional and Group Reward teams, driving consistency, compliance, and alignment with broader strategic objectives while ensuring regional needs are effectively represented and met.


Key Responsibilities


  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR teams across all countries within the Europe Business Unit on payroll and reward matters.

  • Manage relationships with external payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.

  • Collaborate with internal payroll leads to support operational excellence and resolve payroll‑related queries.

  • Serve as the link between the European BU and Divisional/Group Reward teams to ensure alignment with global reward strategies.

  • Ensure consistency and compliance in reward practices across the region, while adapting to local needs and regulations.

  • Represent European requirements in group‑wide reward initiatives and policy development.

  • Support the implementation of reward programs and annual compensation cycles in collaboration with Group Reward.

  • Monitor and respond to changes in payroll legislation and reward trends across European countries.

  • Investigate root causes and ensure robust measures are put in place and improve overall service.

  • Address and resolve complex payroll issues and discrepancies.

  • Provide guidance and support to the payroll team in troubleshooting and problem‑solving.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance payroll systems and procedures.

  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and collaborative team working.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of payroll legislation and industry standards.


Skills & Experience


  • Proven experience in payroll operations across multiple European countries, ideally within a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Understanding of European employment legislation and payroll compliance requirements.

  • Experience managing third‑party payroll providers and internal stakeholder relationships.

  • Familiarity with reward frameworks, compensation cycles, and benefits administration.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across HR, finance, and reward teams.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

  • Ability to balance regional needs with global standards and policies.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages (German and French) are an advantage.
