Purpose of Job
This position works in a warehouse or production facility and is responsible for packing, labeling, and organizing multiple products into a single package/pallet, also known as a kit. This role will also handle the storage and movement and delivery of the kitted supplies to various departments throughout the facility.

Role and Responsibilities

• Sort parts to their designated workorder, pull cart or storage area.
• Maintain control and knowledge of the parts stocking area
• Prepare kits of material for the production areas of the plant
• Organize and label outgoing parts into the correct storage areas.
• Participate in general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, discarded material and cardboard
• Label kitted material with identifying tags and/or marks them with pertinent information
• Participate in continues improvement processes/problem solving
• Daily forklift inspection and operation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive, Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate.
• Be here, be on time, and do the best of your ability, while working in a safe manner on a day-to-day basis.
• Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to investigate an issue and determine best course of action

• Read, understand, and comprehend basic blueprints and drawings
• Communicate well with fellow employees and be comfortable working as part of a team
• Work independently in the absence of supervision with good judgment, while maintaining a high work ethic.

Working Conditions
Normally working on the plant floor which includes manual labor. Will at times be exposed to heat, cold, inclement weather, noise, vibration, welding sparks, grease, oil, and diesel fuel.
