Operations Specialist – Volvero

About The Job
As a startup, the environment changes from day to day, so the tasks differ too. You will help Volvero with key commercial activities to drive company growth. You will talk directly to potential partnerships and be in charge of maintaining customer care, as well as supporting management in core operational activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Working experience in sales/operations
- Professional proficiency in English and Italian
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
- Experience in Mobility & transportation field
- Knowledge of ESG and other impact assessment tools is a plus
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities are paramount as the position involves liaising with customers and potential partners
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing support in customer onboarding for both business and private clients
- Managing app dashboard and ensuring customer profiles meet legal and safety requirements
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives to accelerate growth
- Conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.)
- Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
- Acquiring new customers and managing client relationships (new and existing)
- Collaborating with and coordinating diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service, etc.)
- Building and maintaining profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
- Monitoring performance of commercial activities using key metrics and preparing reports for senior management
- Assisting in setting financial targets and developing and monitoring budgets
