Part of Marriott International, Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Milan is recruiting a Night Duty Manager. Reporting to the Director of Front of the House, the Night Duty Manager oversees all property operations during the overnight shift, ensuring the highest levels of hospitality and service. This is a fixed‑term contract starting early March.

About the Property

Located near the iconic Teatro alla Scala, Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan is an authentic expression of the city’s evocative spirit, intertwined with the rhythm of the Brera neighborhood. The hotel features 101 guestrooms and 15 suites, including the refined Milanese Suite, and is a gateway to Milanese history, art and culture. Guests can enjoy a rare sky bar and restaurant, Etereo, a rooftop pool, and panoramic views along with exceptional gastronomy. Breakfast options and classic Milanese aperitivo are also available.

Responsibilities
  • Represent property management in resolving any guest or property related situation during the night shift in full autonomy.
  • Manage the flow of questions and direct guests accordingly.
  • Serve as Guest Relations Manager / Front Desk Manager and handle the tracking of service issues.
  • Complete end‑of‑day activities including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and rolling the date.
  • Oversee property operations, coordinate engineering, housekeeping, security and food & beverage operations, and act as the point of reference for any emergency.
  • Conduct regular inspection tours of the entire facility and participate in investigations of associate and guest accidents.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with all departments to support night property operations and expedite resolution of any problems.
  • Ensure employees are in proper uniform and groomed, work in a safe environment, and achieve guest tracking and employee survey goals.
  • Send daily MOD night report to all departments and aim to improve service performance.
  • Process all guest check‑ins, check‑outs and walk‑in reservations using Opera, manage room keys, and secure valid payment.
  • Intervene in any guest or associate situation to ensure integrity of the property, guest satisfaction and associate well‑being.
  • Engage in continuous improvement by responding to guest complaints, recording issues and participating in corrective action plans.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years experience in a management position in guest services, front desk or related professional area.
  • Knowledge of luxury and lifestyle hospitality standards and operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of Opera (POS).
  • Fluent Italian and English; any additional language is a plus.
  • Regular availability to work the night shift.
