Responsibilities

As part of the staffing increase of the Smart Engineering team, NTT DATA is seeking a Model Based Design Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in the automotive field. The candidate will develop control algorithms and model-based software, following the MBD model from requirements analysis to control development and automatic code generation in C. The ideal candidate holds a degree and has some experience in model-based software development.

Mandatory Skills

• BSc/MSc Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in model-based design development using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow
• Experience developing code in C (Targetlink or Embedded Coder)
• Excellent knowledge of code versioning systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab)
• Knowledge of real-time systems
• Knowledge of MISRA C rules and guidelines
• Knowledge of debugging techniques and algorithm optimization
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools

Nice To Have Skills

• Knowledge of CAN communication protocol and debugging tools for control units
• Strong teamwork skills
• Troubleshooting abilities
