We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. Join TSD-Space to design, manufacture, integrate, and test precision mechanical components and assemblies for high-reliability electronic systems used in space missions.

Key Tasks

The selected candidate will be involved in mechanical design, manufacturing support, integration, and test activities , following the full component lifecycle : from 3D modeling and production release to assembly and test support .

In particular, you will :
  • Design mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D CAD tools and produce related 2D drawings .
  • Support industrialization activities and interface with external suppliers .
  • Perform mechanical integration and assembly of parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Execute light manual machining operations on prototypes and parts (drilling, tapping, light milling, helicoil insertion).
  • Support mechanical, functional, and environmental testing and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support structural and / or thermal analyses and related technical documentation.
  • Perform quality control of externally manufactured mechanical parts, including dimensional checks.
  • Prepare technical documentation for design, integration, and test activities.
Key Skills & Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of technical drawings and dimensional tolerances.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD tools , preferably SolidWorks , and ability to produce 2D drawings.
  • Practical, hands‑on attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of materials, machining technologies, and measurement instruments.
  • Ability to work in team environments and meet project deadlines.
  • Native Italian speaker or full professional proficiency in Italian .
  • Good knowledge of the English language .
