A leading engineering firm in Assago is seeking a Material & Corrosion Prevention Engineer for an offshore energy project. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with international standards while selecting the best materials. You will conduct corrosion assessments and oversee asset integrity, requiring a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and over 10 years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in English and hands-on work in offshore projects is essential.

Competenze

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in the discipline after earning the BSc degree.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Selection of the best technical economical solutions for Materials.
• Overall material selection integrity in compliance with international standards, COMPANY specifications and engineering best practices.
• Corrosion prevention and corrosion risk assessment.
• Asset Integrity Management, including pipeline integrity management system, maintenance management system, corrosion and material management system
• Provide support in reviewing material non conformity.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Work experience of 10+ years in the field of the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands‑on experience in offshore projects.
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports.
