Night Assistant Manager
At Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, we are looking for a Night Assistant Manager who will act as point contact during the overnight shift, taking great care of our guests and staff. A hands‑on empathetic approach, a diligence in both safety and care, and a measured eye for detail with a reaching understanding of Hotel operations will be essential in the success of this candidate.
- Manage the activities at the Front Desk during the overnight shift.
- Ensure communications and follow‑up with day shift on any problems, guest requests or special requirements.
- Complete the Daily Reports for all Front of House Departments, and successfully complete the night audit.
- Resolve customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
- Review late arrivals, next day early arrivals and departures to plan for the next day's activities to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups.
- Assure that all financial and credit procedures are followed. When taking a shift at the desk, follows up on credit problems. Review all paid‑outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements and Direct Billings. Check cashiers' work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements.
- Check guests in and out in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible, and according to Four Seasons standards.
- Utilize a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, run night audit reports, and review room allocations for arriving guests.
- Coordinate front of house departments with night briefing.
- Assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, in‑house events, reservation calls.
- Take action in all matters related to the safety, security of hotel guests and employees.
- Support with any other tasks within the division and/or any tasks assigned by the management team.
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 2 years' experience in Front Desk preferably in a luxury hotel environment. Previous experience in the same role would be a plus.
- Must possess excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can‑do approach to any request.
- Must have strong communication skills, ability to adapt to constant change within the Hotel and work effectively under pressure.
- Good problem solving skills, strong attention to details and organizational skills are required.
- Proficiency in using Opera PMS is required.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language. A third language is a plus.

In this unique and high‑impact role, you will play a key part in elevating the hotel's visibility, driving brand awareness, and positioning Four Seasons Hotel Firenze as a premier destination. From promoting our exceptional hotel, restaurants & bars, spa experiences, and event spaces, to highlighting the talent behind our service, you'll help shape the public perception of our property and contribute directly to our commercial success. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead a dynamic team and act as a key brand ambassador, representing the hotel within the community and serving as a spokesperson for media and partnerships. This is a position based at the hotel and ideal for a confident communicator, experienced leader, and collaborative marketer.
Digital Marketing
- Support the hotel's digital marketing strategy as an essential part of the overall communications and commercial approach, contributing directly to increasing direct business.
- Oversee website performance and content strategy to ensure alignment with brand standards and business objectives, driving traffic through paid and natural search, engagement, and conversion.
- Support the paid media budget management, including campaign planning, execution, and optimization across all relevant platforms.
- Direct the Digital Marketing Specialist on content strategies for social media and website, ensuring alignment with PR and integrated communications plans.
- Co‑manage and support Four Seasons Hotel Firenze's digital communications strategy with a proactive, data‑driven, and creative approach that reinforces the hotel's positioning and supports PR, marketing, and commercial initiatives.
Social Media
- Content Strategy: Oversee content planning and creation for the hotel's social media channels.
- Leverage all social media channels to amplify key messages and activities, elevating the importance of search as well as strategic and creative communication.
- Oversee influencer marketing and creator collaborations.
- Illustrate the power and resulting impact of a strategic social presence through effective monitoring and evaluation tools.
Public Relations and Communications
- Oversee the execution of the integrated communications plan across all Four Seasons pillars in collaboration with the PR Manager.
- Provide strategic guidance to align PR, communications, and social media with commercial objectives.
- Support and review media relations, influencer partnerships, and press activities to ensure consistent, high‑quality coverage.
- Plan events for the promotion of the hotel and its outlets.
- Guide PR efforts to promote the hotel's spa and F&B outlets.
- Maintain relationships with key local PR associations and tourism partners.
- Review PR reports and highlight presentations for strategic alignment.
Brand Management
- Lead and manage the coordination and creation of promotional items, newsletters, and seasonal brochures.
- Co‑manage the production and coordination of photo and video shoots.
- Support sales, catering and reservations teams with auditing sales materials, ensuring external messaging is aligned with brand guidelines and hotel's positioning.
Additional Functions
- Actively understand the hotel's business mix, consumer profile and insights.
- In partnership with direct reports, respond according to the crisis management plan to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Commercial Director.
Education and Experience
- University graduate.
- Two/Three years of management experience in public relations, communications, digital marketing and related industries, preferably within the lifestyle and hospitality industries.
