Job Description Summary

Avio Aero is looking for an experienced and a dynamic senior leader to fill the role of Marketing, Strategy and Business Development Leader. This executive position requires deep expertise in the aeronautical and aerospace industry, exceptional strategic thinking, and a proven track record in marketing, business development, and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding analytical skills, a project-oriented mindset, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives that align with Avio Aero’s vision and long-term goals.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute the marketing strategy to support Avio Aero’s overarching business objectives. Lead and coordinate transversally with all the involved functions the company’s strategy creation and execution, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.
  • Market Analysis & Value Proposition: Analyze industry developments, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision‑making and evaluate inorganic growth. Lead the creation of Avio Aero’s value proposition, ensuring differentiation and relevance in the marketplace.
  • Competitiveness Assessment: Evaluate Avio Aero’s position in the market, identifying opportunities to enhance competitiveness and drive growth.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with the sales team to support campaigns, develop impactful marketing strategies, and ensure alignment with business development goals.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across functions to ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives into broader organizational strategies. Find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide the team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicate complex messages internally and influence peers to take action and negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Extensive experience and solid network in the aerospace industry, with specific expertise in aerospace engines considered a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record in a senior marketing or business development role, with demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver measurable results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence C‑level executives and external stakeholders.
  • Technical aptitude to understand product trends and developments, and the ability to translate these insights into compelling value propositions.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong and proven experience working in a cross‑functional, international environment, with exposure to diverse markets and customer groups.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required.
