We have a great opportunity to join Emerson as our Manufacturing Engineer. In this key role, you will be responsible for the analysis, improvement and stability of production processes, aimed to increase safety, quality and efficiency. The role involves direct involvement in daily problem‑solving activities in production and promoting continuous improvement initiatives, in collaboration with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze production processes and propose improvement solutions in terms of efficiency, quality and costs.
  • Supervise the main establishment KPIs and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support the resolution of technical and methodological problems in the production area.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of Lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, standard work, VSM).
  • Support and translate the efficiency opportunities that emerged during the GEMBA walks into concrete actions.
  • Draw up and update technical process documentation, operating instructions and working standards.
  • Support the introduction into production of new products and processes, in collaboration with technical and quality functions.
  • Participate in the training of operational staff on Lean methods, procedures and tools
Who You Are

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Management, Industrial or equivalent).
  • 2–5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in supervising benchmarks using tools such as advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar.
  • Knowledge of technical drawing and assembly and/or mechanical processing processes.
  • Fluent English language skills; verbal, reading and writing, Italian - native.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and the main continuous improvement techniques.
  • Ability to handle several tasks and balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills.
