Job Overview

Join Club Esse Hotels & Resorts as a Maitre per Resorts Sardegna e Calabria. We look for experienced Maitre di sala to work in our resort locations in Sardinia and Calabria during summer 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality of service in the dining room following company procedures and standards, proposing innovations.
  • Welcome guests and monitor their satisfaction.
  • Manage and supervise the efficient operation of the department, ensuring all staff adhere to behavioral rules.
  • Organise daily work, assigning tasks to brigade members.
  • Oversee room and buffet set‑up in accordance with chef and corporate F&B guidelines.
  • Assign tables, supervise mise en place, and accompany guests.
  • Monitor food storage, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
  • Coordinate and motivate the dining room crew, ensuring a safe, inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain work environment, ensuring hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Resort and tourist villages with buffet service.
  • Good knowledge of English and another foreign language.
  • Knowledge of HACCP self‑control regulations.
  • Detailed knowledge of allergen table and cross‑contamination.
  • Strong leadership and problem‑solving mindset.
