A leading streaming service provider in Italy is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to enhance personalization features for users. This role involves developing ML models and collaborating with diverse teams to improve customer experience. Candidates should possess a strong background in machine learning and programming, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Machine Learning Engineer - Personalization at Amazon Prime Video. Prime Video is a destination for premium programming across devices. As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of product, user experience, design, and technology to deliver state-of-the-art experiences. You’ll work on fast-paced, challenging projects, experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people. We seek diverse perspectives, ideas, and skill-sets to improve Prime Video for customers, with global opportunities for technologists.
Work with advanced approaches such as foundation models to connect information about videos and customers from multiple sources, acquiring and processing large-scale data. Build highly scalable page personalization solutions to improve recommendations, including addressing cold-start scenarios and uncovering niche user interests. You will lead as a research and hands-on ML practitioner, guiding teams of engineers and scientists and collaborating with senior leaders in Prime Video. There will be opportunities to publish research internally and externally.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
