Overview

LG&Shoes MFO Product Manager (Maternity Cover) role at Versace. Contract Type: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover). Department: Product Development. Mode: Hybrid.

Your opportunity:

As a LG&Shoes MFO Product Manager you will focus on Men's/Women's Footwear and Men's/Women's Leather Goods for the Made for Outlet category with a strong interaction with various internal stakeholders with the aim of developing the LG & Shoes MFO collections from prototyping to production, in compliance with quality standards, the allocated budget and the planned timelines.

Your contribution

• Analysis of warehouse leftovers and proposal of solutions for their optimal use, with the aim of maximising recovery.
• Participation in all stages of product development, from conception to approval of the industrialisation sample, in compliance with collection times and assigned deadlines.
• Drafting and management of documentation for the correct transfer of product information to support the prototyping and sampling phases.
• Continuous interface with the DiBa department in order to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data entered into the system.
• Negotiation with suppliers on facon and processing costs, in case of deviations from the assigned targets.
• Management of the interface with Italian and foreign suppliers, in collaboration with the Product Manager and technical staff, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Definition and communication of requirements for prototyping and sampling orders.
• Constant monitoring of development progress in accordance with priorities.
• Management of the collection development budget by category and definition of cost targets.
• Regular sharing of collection progress with all departments involved.
• Active participation in prototype and sample defect detection.
• Cross-functional collaboration with the Style, Merchandising, Production and Logistics departments.
• 5 years of experience in the product field for the Accessories (Footwear, Leather Goods) categories in the luxury sector.
• Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Stealth 3000 and PLM Centric management systems.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, strong precision and a constructive approach to problem solving. A keen sensitivity to the product is required.
• Fluent knowledge of English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad for short periods is required.
