A recruitment firm is seeking a skilled linguist to review and annotate AI-generated text for accuracy and cultural alignment. The ideal candidate will be a native Italian speaker with a strong command of English and a background in linguistics or related fields. This position is remote and offers flexible hours between 10 to 40 hours per week, with compensation ranging from $50 to $70 per hour.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

(Training support will be provided)

• Review, evaluate, and annotate AI-generated text in Italian (Italy) for accuracy, fluency, and cultural alignment.
• Provide expert feedback on grammar, semantics, style, and tone.
• Develop guidelines and documentation to improve consistency in AI outputs.
• Collaborate with researchers to identify language-specific challenges and edge cases.
• Suggest improvements for training datasets and linguistic rules.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Italian (Italy) and fluency in English.
• Strong grasp of grammar, syntax, semantics, and stylistics.
• Ability to identify and correct subtle linguistic and cultural nuances.
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Literature, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Prior experience in linguistic annotation, translation, or content review preferred.
• Familiarity with AI, NLP, or language technologies is a bonus (not required).
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
