Join one of Europe’s most established and forward-thinking Independent Power Producers (IPP) with decades of experience in developing, building, and operating renewable energy projects across the continent. With deep roots in the European energy market and a strong commitment to sustainability, my client are expanding their footprint in Italy and are looking for a skilled Land Acquisition Manager to help us unlock the country’s potential for solar and battery storage development.
As a Land Acquisition Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth in Italy, identifying strategic land opportunities for utility-scale solar PV, Wind and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Working remotely from Northern Italy, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our renewable pipeline.
Identify and assess land parcels suitable for large-scale solar PV and/or battery storage projects.
Build strong relationships with landowners, municipalities, and local stakeholders.
Evaluate site conditions, including topography, grid access, and environmental constraints.
Coordinate closely with internal teams and external consultants for technical and legal due diligence.
Maintain a database of scouted sites and provide regular updates to the development team.
Based in Northern Italy with solid regional knowledge and local networks.
Confident communicator and skilled negotiator, especially in landowner engagement.
Self-driven and resourceful, capable of working independently in the field.
Background in land scouting, real estate, agriculture, or renewable energy is highly valued.
Fluent in Italian; English proficiency preferred.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel across the region.
Competitive salary: €50,000 base + performance-based bonus.
