Responsibilities include collaborating with team members, performing detailed analyses, and maintaining lab equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of laboratory experience and a secondary school diploma in chemistry. Proficiency in Italian and English is required. This position is full-time and offers a professional working environment.

Competenze

Chemistry Department

Position Summary

Execute laboratory-scale chemical synthesis studies of organic and inorganic compounds. Perform related analysis on reaction mixtures and products generated in the laboratory using common analytical techniques (Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography) with on-site equipment.

Job Status

• Full-Time
• Reports to: Head of Chemistry Department

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisor and lab personnel to ensure tasks are completed correctly and timely.
• Perform tasks safely, adhering to company and lab safety rules.
• Maintain and qualify instruments, perform clean-outs, and conduct special analyses as needed.
• Record and update chemical activities in notebooks, and produce reports and technical documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in all workspaces.
• Monitor local inventory of chemicals.
• Follow procedures for disposing of laboratory waste.
• Perform other tasks within the Chemical Department or related areas in the R&D Centre.

Education

• Secondary school diploma as a chemical technician or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a chemical laboratory role, with demonstrated expertise in experimental techniques and organic chemistry.
