A leading global connector manufacturer is seeking an experienced sales professional in Rome to enhance customer relationships and drive growth in the electronics and aerospace sectors. The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of technical sales experience, a strong background in RF and optical technologies, and fluency in Italian and English. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work both remotely and from the office, ensuring collaboration with various teams to achieve customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.

DISCOVER YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key representative of Radiall, you will act as the main interface between the company and your assigned customers, developing strong, trusted relationships across all levels — from engineers and buyers to senior management. Your mission is to drive growth, deliver tailored solutions, and position Radiall as the preferred supplier in your markets.

You will collaborate closely with internal technical, industrial and support teams to deliver tailored solutions to customer needs.

Main Responsibilities :
  • Manage and develop relationships with assigned customers, including strategic Key Accounts.
  • Identify and grow new business opportunities.
  • Handle InDesign responsibilities with partners / distributors by proposing the best commercial and technical solutions.
  • Prepare and respond to RFIs and RFQs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements and ensure compliance with customer requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor customer needs and relevant industry standards and certifications.
  • Contribute to business growth and achieve sales objectives.
  • Act as the technical interface between customers, sales teams, and Business Units to translate customer needs into feasible, value-added solutions.
  • Provide technical support and expertise during the entire sales cycle: demonstrations, application reviews, and problem-solving.

We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a strong technical and commercial background in the electronics, aerospace, defense, telecom, or industrial sectors. The ideal candidate combines strategic business acumen with deep technical understanding—particularly in connectivity technologies such as RF and optical interconnects—to drive growth and strengthen long-term customer partnerships.

Qualifications
  • A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field (Bachelor or Master’s degree preferred).
  • 8–10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or key account management, ideally within connectors, electromechanical components, or interconnect systems.
  • Strong technical-commercial blend, with a good understanding of Radio Frequency (RF), Optical connectivity technologies, MultiPin and/or Interconnect Technologies.
  • Proven success in developing business opportunities and managing complex customer relationships across multiple organizational levels and departments.
  • Experience in Defense, Space, Aerospace, Telecom, Test & Measurement (Medical, Quantum, Industrial) is highly valued.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (native or near-native); additional languages such as French are a plus.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
  • Hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely and from the office.
  • Ideally based in the Mid or South of Italy.
  • Strong internal collaboration with engineering, program management, and global account teams to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.
